WHY JOURNALING WORKS

Emotional Processing & Mental Clarity

When you journal, you slow your thoughts down enough to bring clarity.

  • Writing helps you organize thoughts and make sense of experiences.
  • It increases self-awareness, helping you notice patterns and triggers.
  • Expressive writing has been shown to reduce emotional distress and improve mental health.

Simple & Approachable

Designed for busy people who want calm without complexity.

Research Backed

 Grounded in psychological principles.

Creatively Calming

A gentle daily practice to help you notice the good, shift your mindset, and create moments of calm.

A little bit about my coloring books

Learning to create with Canva

A while back, when I was first delving into the world of content creation, I was fortunate to have a mentor who helped me navigate the ins and outs of Canva.

When I produced my first coloring books, I was not sure how they would turn out, and was nervous about putting my name out there. Therefore, I published them under the pen name of William Gowin, a male variation of my name.

Well, as it turns out, I love the way my coloring books turned out, but cannot change the name of the author without taking them out of publication and then republishing them.

My main emphasis right now is to create more journals, as is my passion. But, I did enjoy so much creating these coloring books that I just might create more in the future...under my own name.

Journal Prompts

Think of a moment this week when you honored your own ‘yes’ instead of defaulting to what others expected. What did that choice reveal about the kind of life you’re building?

Where in your life are you ready to take back authorship, big or small? Describe one area where you want your voice to matter more than external noise.
